Sprinkling Restrictions

Kenilworth and other communities using Lake Michigan water have been ordered by the State to limit nonessential outside water usage during the summer. During the period from May 15 through September 15 in each year, no watering or sprinkling of lawns, gardens, shrubbery, trees, or other landscaping features or for the purpose of filling or refilling swimming pools, on any day between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. However, newly sodded or seeded area of lawns may be watered at any time on any day for a period of four weeks following installation.
